Biography

Robin is a comedian, presenter and writer.

He has recently hosted stages for the New Scientist Magazine, The Moth Live (one of the world’s most popular podcasts), and performed to hundreds of thousands of people from Parliament Square to Glastonbury.

He has written and performed on Radio 4’s topical news shows The NowShow and News Jack. He also writes for Vice and has written and performed improvised sketches on Jarvis Cocker’s Sunday Service (Radio6 music), BBC Iplayer (Pick of the Fringe) and BBC Three.

He’s also one half of sketch duo Robin and Partridge (https://robinandpartridge.wordpress.com/). Their fun and often improvised style has also seen them perform at the Tate Modern, V and A, British Museum and in the Barbican’s ear popping concert hall. They have worked with artists such as Jarvis Cocker, Roy Ayers, Bicep, Damian Hirst, Peter Blake and Nouvelle Vague and with institutions such as The Royal Shakespeare Company, Sadler’s Wells and Ronnie Scotts.

He’s also popular at weird and wonderful events and has compered stages at Citadel, Tea in the Park, and the main stage at Wilderness, and has even presided over a wedding, marrying artists Deborah Curtis and Gavin Turk.

He’s  made 15,000 people have a powder paint fight, sent someone to Space and presented the Shoreditch Paw Pageant – a fashion show for dogs.
